I first met Tony Gatheca at the AIESEC National Conference in 1997. The Daystar dude was a very easy fellow to get along with. After graduation, the fellow went to work for Kiss 100 in a capacity as a sales guy. It became evident that beneath that boyish charm lay a very aggressive marketer. The man went of my radar until he popped up in those appointment pages in the Financial Standard working for Colour Creations aka C3.

The man was recently hired by Capital FM as their sales and marketing manager. It was an inspired move on Capital FM’s part. The man clearly understands the radio business having worked at Kiss 100 for quite some time. And his time at Colour Creations will probably put them in good stead especially in as far as their merchandising needs are concerned. As Capital FM turns 10 you can’t find a more qualified individual to push their strategy forward.

To Tony, congratulations are in order.
