Resolution Health’s boards toasts to the new achievement.

Its been a long slog for Peter Nduati. His company was born in 2002 in Nairobi as Resolution Health as the first company to be registered as a Medical Insurance Provider (MIP). The company partnered with a strong network of Medical Service Providers (Hospitals, Clinics and doctors) all over Kenya. It grew in leaps and bounds and over time became one of the most respected companies in the health insurance industry.

In 2012 the company went regionally offering its services in Tanzania with plans for the rest of the region. 2013 was a special as the company converted to an insurance firm. The ceremony in early February happened at the Carnivore Grounds with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) awarding a Certificate of Registration to Resolution Insurance Company Limited.

This follows the completion of the registration process after the amendment of the Insurance Act to require all medical insurance providers to operate either as brokers or general insurance companies by December 31, last year.
So how successful has the company been you ask? Resolution Health gross written premiums in 2012 increased by 30.8 percent from Kshs 1.583 billion in 2011 to Kshs 2.071 billion in 2012.

Very nice Mr Nduati. Very nice.
