A police officer pulls Derek over for speeding and says, "May I see your driving license please?" "I don't actually have one" says Derek, "I had it confiscated for speeding." "Oh, right then. Is this your car then? Can I see your registration documents?" "It's not my car, I stole it." "This car is stolen?" "Yes, but I think I saw the documents in the glove compartment when I put my gun in there." "There's a gun in the glovebox?" "Yes, that's where I put it after I shot and killed the woman who owns this car and stuffed her in the boot." "There's a body in the boot?" Hearing all this, the officer calls for backup which arrives within minutes. Soon, Derek's car is surrounded by police and to handle the situation, a police inspector approached Derek cautiously. "Sir, can I see some ID?" he says. Derek duly hands over his driving license. "And whose car is this?" "It's mine Inspector. Here are the registration papers." "I see, would you mind opening the boot for me? I was told there was a body in it." Derek opens the boot which is completely empty. Puzzled, the Inspector says, "But the Officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a driving license, you stole the car, you had a gun in the glovebox and that there was a dead body in the boot." "Really? I'll bet the lying bastard told you I was speeding as well!" |
