A few weeks ago on this website I made some unfriendly remarks about Bata Shoe Company and their shoes. These remarks were made in anger at what I considered that I had lost a new pair of shoes to a cobblers attentions. I recently met Ernest Kabiru a fellow that works for the company as business development manager. My first reaction was to immediately complain at losing my brand new pair of shoes to the cobbler. His first reaction was to ask which shop I bought the offending shoes. He then informed me that when the shoes fell apart, the first thing I should have done was go back to the shop and I would have immediately been issued a replacement pair. The fact that I took them to the cobbler first meant that there was no one who could do anything at this late stage. In the interests of those of you that might be interested buying Bata shoes, try and return the shoe and see if they give you a replacement pair. Alternatively, Bata could always try and stop selling shoes we have to return. >> Related Links |
