NairobiLiving.com was born in June 2006 at a time when blogs and the blogosphere was still a new concept in Kenya. At the time, the blog was the definitive space to know what was happening in the Nairobi space in a variety of disciplines including the professional, the social and everything in between.
NairobiLiving.com’s creator James Murua was able to spin off its success to a newspaper column that was voted “Column of the Year 2009” by the readers of The Star.
NairobiLiving.com, which is a member of the Bloggers Association of Kenya fraternity, was nominated for best lifestyle blog at the Bloggers Awards of Kenya in 2015.
