We all love our mums no? Well this one means that whoever does stuff for mums will be doing pretty well in our books. Take the Supamamas which was formed by Christine Khasinah-Odero to ensure that mums have opportunities to network in a safe mum friendly environment. Its a vital forum that I have been following keenly and have been impressed by.

Well the forum in conjunction with the worlds leading diaper brand Brand recently paid tribute to Kenyan mums through an event dubbed “Mamas Appreciation Day”.

The idea was for mums to enjoy a measure of luxury and a reprieve from everyday routine, in appreciation of the important role that mothers play in bringing up their children. They were pampered with manicures, makeovers and all-round red carpet treatment.

The lucky 200 Nairobi mums including ladies Pinky Ghelani and Suzie Wokabi also discussed a number of pertinent issues affecting mums across economic divides. They had candid discussions with coaches and experts on maintaining a healthy work-family balance, hair and skin care guidelines from experts.

Also at the event were Pampers Brand Manager Irene Mwathi and Pampers Brand ambassador Janet Kanini Ikua.
